Alison has extensive experience working for professional service providers, to create positive change to improve business operations, efficiencies which ultimately increase business revenue.
Alison commenced at McKean Park Lawyers in February 2019. Her varied role at McKean Park Lawyers includes HR responsibilities, marketing, attending regular partners and debtor committee meetings and ensuring the ideas, changes, improvements, projects and issues raised at these meetings are actioned and implemented. Alison also oversees the compliance requirements and ensures the processes and procedures are followed, firm-wide. Alison also covers the Accounts Administrator absences and manages the external contractors and service providers.
Alison works closely with the finance, administration, and secretarial staff, to ensure the lawyers are provided with the best support when attending to their clients’ needs and obligations.
Prior to McKean Park Lawyers, Alison started her career working for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for 15 years. During her time with the CBA she worked her way up from batch clerk to Small Business Lending Manager.
Following her period with the CBA, Alison spent a few years as a Senior Administrator at a boutique finance company, then General Manager for 3 years at a Melbourne accounting firm and was sought after to be the GM at a fledgling law firm, growing the team from 5 to 15 in 4 years. Alison then decided it was time to experience working for a well known and established law firm and was fortunate to join McKean Park Lawyers.
Alison enjoys watching her boys play senior football in the VAFA, keeping fit and strong, sampling new breakfast venues and enjoying time with family and friends.

James has proven leadership qualities and is a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Accountants (FIPA). With responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the firm, James focuses on achieving continuous improvement and implementing process efficiency. Through the use of these skill sets he is able to manage, monitor and report on the progress of the financial and business goals of the firm.
