Minuri Dharmasena

Minuri Dharmasena is a commercial litigator who was admitted to practice law in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the Australian National University (Canberra) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Minuri commenced her legal career at a firm in Canberra before returning to Melbourne towards the end of 2023. She commenced with McKean Park in September 2024, after working for a firm in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She is looking forward to honing her skills through working closely with Prue Greenfield in the firm’s Litigation Law Team.

Minuri has experience with both large-and small-scale litigation, dealing with issues such as contract disputes, civil and commercial litigation, debt recovery and employment law.

Outside of the law, Minuri enjoys reading, travelling and trivia as well as reacquainting herself with Victorian attractions, particularly through nature walks.

Prue Greenfield

Prue leads the Commercial litigation team at McKean Park. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, providing legal advice to a wide variety of industries, SME’s, family businesses, directors and individuals.

Prue has a strong focus on strategy in order to deliver the best, most commercially based outcome for clients. She is astute, leads with empathy and approaches disputes with a strategic mindset that ensures that the best outcome is achieved for clients.

Prue prides herself on being accessible to her clients and works with them to resolve their disputes in a holistic way. Prue is passionate about utilising her skills, knowledge and expertise to make a positive difference for those she represents.

Prue has appeared in the Magistrates’ Court, the County Court, the Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit Court as well as the Victorian Civil Administration Tribunal. She conducts her own mediations and has a strong focus on dispute resolution.

Prior to commencing at McKean Park, Prue honed her legal expertise within a number of boutique Melbourne city-based law firms as well as leading a commercial litigation and dispute resolution team of a mid-tier national law firm for a number of years.

Prue was admitted to practice law in 2001 and joined McKean Park in early August 2024.

Outside of the law, Prue loves to travel and to focus on health and well-being. She is a registered Les Mills fitness professional certified in Sprint and RPM.

Oliver Ireland

Oliver graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology major and Politics minor) and a Bachelor of Laws in 2016. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practices in 2017 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania as a lawyer in August 2017.

Prior to making the move to Victoria, Oliver spent six months with the Hobart Community Legal Centre where he gained invaluable experience as a duty solicitor.

Oliver joined a well-respected Melbourne-based private practice firm in June 2018. There, under the guidance and mentorship of experienced senior legal practitioners, he honed his skills in property law. During this time, he also undertook a Master of Laws in Commercial Law at Monash University.

In early 2020, Oliver moved to an in-house lawyer role where he was responsible for managing, overseeing and supervising a property legal team. He returned to private practice in 2022 and is now working across both the property law and commercial law teams of McKean Park.

Outside of work, Oliver enjoys traveling and sightseeing around Australia and abroad, as well as watching the newest true crime series or action movie on Netflix.

David ran his own firm for 15 years, providing a broad perspective on matters influencing dispute resolution. He assists clients with property, deceased estate, contractual and joint venture disputes, commercial issues, retail tenancy matters, and all types of insolvency litigation. David understands the stress and cost of litigation and believes in dispute resolution – not dispute escalation.

David established and chaired the Commercial Litigation Specialist Study Group for 17 years. He was the Chairman and on the board of the Specialisation Study Board of the Law Institute of Victoria for many years. He frequently presents at commercial and industry seminars.
