Shahn was admitted to practice law in 2019 after completing his Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne. He began his career in the public sector before transferring to private practice in 2022, where he has practised predominantly in Family Law ever since.
Shahn’s Family Law experience covers the full ambit of issues affecting married, de facto, and same sex couples, including complex property disputes, binding financial agreements, parenting disputes, child support, divorce, and family violence intervention orders. Shahn’s Family Law practice also draws upon his Commercial Litigation experience.
Shahn provides practical advice to his clients with a focus on empowering his clients to make well-informed decisions about their future. He appreciates that relationship breakdowns can be a very stressful and emotional time and works with clients to formulate solutions that are in theirs, and their children’s, best interests.
Shahn joined McKean Park in March 2026 and is an integral part Family Law department of the firm.
